The close-up view turns Cosha’s likeness into an intimate portrait. A watchful dark eye, bright with reflected light, immediately draws attention, while the slight turn of the head gives the bird a curious, gently questioning expression.

The white plumage contains many shades: cream, soft pink, pale blue and cool grey. Short, expressive brushstrokes convey the softness and overlapping layers of the feathers, contrasting with the smooth surface of the substantial beak.
