Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under Israeli law or other applicable law.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, artworks offered for sale on this website are original physical works created by Alla Ostrovsky.
Most original artworks are one-of-a-kind. An artwork may also be displayed on another art platform, at an exhibition or through a gallery. Availability is therefore subject to final confirmation.
If the same artwork is ordered through more than one sales channel before its availability can be updated, the order will be confirmed according to actual availability. If an artwork is no longer available, the buyer will be notified and any payment received for that artwork will be refunded in full.
Each artwork page includes the information available about the work, including its title, materials, dimensions, year and other relevant details.
Every reasonable effort is made to present photographs and colours accurately. However, colours and surface details may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting and the device used to view the website.
Small variations, textures and irregularities are natural characteristics of handmade original artwork and are not considered defects.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website at the time of purchase. The final amount payable will be shown before the order is completed.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available on the website. An order is not confirmed until payment has been received and the availability of the artwork has been verified.
Prices may be changed at any time before an order is confirmed. A price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
If a clear pricing or technical error is discovered after an order has been placed, the buyer will be contacted and offered the choice of completing the purchase at the correct price or cancelling the order for a full refund.
After an order is placed, the buyer may receive an automatic email confirming that the order was submitted. This automatic message does not necessarily confirm final acceptance of the order.
The purchase is confirmed after payment and artwork availability have been checked. The buyer will be contacted if additional information is required before dispatch.
An order may be refused or cancelled if the artwork is unavailable, the payment cannot be processed, the delivery information is incomplete, or there is a reasonable indication of fraudulent or unauthorised activity. If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
Each artwork is carefully and securely packaged according to its size, materials and construction. Original artworks are accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Shipping methods, estimated delivery times, customs information and current return conditions are described on the Delivery and Returns page.
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, local conditions or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for responding to reasonable requests from the shipping carrier.
Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is responsible for any import taxes, customs duties or local charges imposed by the destination country.
Returns, refunds and cancellations are handled according to the current policy published on the Delivery and Returns page.
To request a return or cancellation, the buyer should contact Alla Ostrovsky through the website and provide the order details.
Any return must be made in accordance with the instructions provided. The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
Refunds are processed after the returned artwork has been received and inspected, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Commissioned artworks are created individually according to an agreed subject, size, materials, price and general artistic direction.
The scope of the commission, payment schedule, estimated completion time and any included review stages will be agreed before work begins.
The artist retains creative and artistic control over the final work. Reference photographs and instructions supplied by the client will be used as guidance, but an original painted artwork will not be an exact mechanical reproduction of a photograph.
Commissioned and personalised artworks may be subject to different cancellation and return conditions. Any such conditions will be communicated before payment and will remain subject to applicable consumer law.
The client confirms that they have the right to provide and authorise the use of any photographs or other reference materials submitted for the commission.
Purchasing an artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. Copyright, reproduction rights and all other intellectual property rights remain with Alla Ostrovsky unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The buyer may not reproduce, publish, commercially use, license, create merchandise from or sell copies of the artwork without prior written permission.
Alla Ostrovsky retains the right to photograph and reproduce images of sold and commissioned artworks for portfolios, exhibitions, publications, social media, promotional materials and other professional purposes, unless a different written agreement has been made.
All images, artwork photographs, text, graphics and other original content on this website are protected by copyright and may not be copied, downloaded, published, distributed, modified or commercially used without written permission.
You may view and share links to publicly available pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that the content is not altered and the artist is properly credited.
This website may contain links to external art platforms, social networks, payment providers, shipping companies or other third-party services.
These third parties operate independently and have their own terms, policies and privacy practices. Alla Ostrovsky is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of external websites.
Purchases completed directly through an external art platform are also subject to that platform’s terms and conditions.
Personal information submitted through the website may be used to respond to enquiries, process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and provide customer service.
Payment information may be processed by external payment providers. Alla Ostrovsky does not necessarily receive or store the buyer’s complete credit card details.

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed, and the website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Alla Ostrovsky is not responsible for indirect losses caused solely by temporary website interruption, third-party service failure or events outside reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

The Terms in effect when an order is confirmed will normally apply to that order, except where a change is required by law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to the buyer under applicable law.
