A finger touches a blue surface, sending luminous ripples and fine, winding lines outward. The enormous hand fills the upper composition, its contours built from vivid gold, red and violet strokes. The cool depth of the background intensifies these warm colours. An everyday gesture takes on an almost cosmic scale, becoming an image of a small point of contact setting movement in motion.
