This intimate botanical painting presents a close-up of a purple indica flower, rendered with remarkable precision and a luminous, layered technique. The soft glow surrounding the petals evokes a sense of calm and quiet introspection. Executed on MDF using tempera, oil, and acrylic, the work draws on Old Masters methods to achieve a glowing, multi-dimensional effect. The translucent glazes enhance the depth of color, while fine brushwork brings attention to every curve and fold. The result is both meditative and vivid, a still image that seems gently alive with light and air. A contemplative piece for lovers of symbolic nature motifs.
