In this symbolist-surrealist composition, a flower rises unexpectedly from a human skull—an image of paradox, rebirth, and fragile persistence. Behind the central figure, a distant window frames a barely visible eye: an unseen observer, adding a psychological undercurrent to the piece.
The layered textures and muted tones evoke a quiet stillness, balanced by the luminous presence of the bloom. This work invites contemplation on mortality, consciousness, and the delicate relationship between decay and new life. A subtle tension lingers in the air, as if something (or someone) is always watching, just out of reach.
